Job summary

Fannie Mae is seeking a Senior BI Associate for its Single Family team to translate business needs into insightful BI solutions. You will partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, build dashboards, and automate processes to reduce manual effort.

You will turn complex data into actionable insights, communicating findings to leadership and improving data quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience.
• Curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including AI to reimagine how we work.
• Experience with BI, data analytics, reporting, or data visualization.
• Experience developing dashboards and analytic solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, identify reporting and analytical needs, and translate those needs into BI solutions.
• Analyze complex business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, risks, opportunities, and emerging issues.
• Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, metrics, and visualizations that provide meaningful insight into business performance.
• Translate analysis into clear conclusions, recommendations, and business narratives for leadership and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify manual reporting and analytical processes.
• Work with business and technology partners to define requirements, evaluate data sources, troubleshoot issues, test solutions, and implement enhancements.
• Improve the quality, consistency, usability, and transparency of business data and reporting.
• Support ad hoc analytical requests and strategic initiatives, including ambiguous business problems that require structured analysis and problem solving.
