Job summary

Central Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic growth. You will empower leaders, optimize operations, and shape the future direction of the business through data-driven decisions.

You’ll partner with Product, Underwriting, Analytics, Actuarial, Finance, IT and other teams to deliver scalable BI solutions and foster data literacy across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field and 2 years experience communicating data insights between technical and business personnel.
• Or Bachelor’s degree in related field and 4 years experience communicating data insights between technical and business personnel.
• Or 6 years insurance experience communicating data insights between technical and business personnel.
• Experience with Property & Casualty Insurance products and/or associated data – preferred.
• Experience with external data sources – preferred.
• Power BI visualization expertise – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate SME-level data knowledge across domains and data environments.
• Research, design, analyze, develop and maintain exceptional business intelligence solutions.
• Present and communicate insights to drive stakeholder understanding, adoption, and business action.
• Increase data literacy across the organization by providing training and support for BI tools.
• Drive adoption of BI solutions by partnering with stakeholders to integrate data into decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with leadership and other units to share knowledge and avoid duplicative work.
• Ensure data is accurate and well-documented through governance and modeling efforts.
• Lead the design, validation, and enhancement of scalable data models for reporting.
