COUNTRY Financial, headquartered in Bloomington, IL, is seeking a senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build and maintain data foundations, develop dashboards, and provide insights to drive business decisions. The role collaborates across Agency Administration to monitor program health and report on KPIs.

The position emphasizes strong SQL/Tableau/Hadoop skills, plus experience with data visualization, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
• Insurance industry knowledge.
• Ability to extract and analyze data within both a traditional and big data environment.
• Data analytics and quantitative/qualitative reasoning.
• Experience creating and analyzing data visualizations for the purpose of generating insights.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, Git, data storytelling and forecasting.
• Computer proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, database technology, analytics and business intelligence.
• Good project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, organize efficiently, establish priorities and attend to details.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns and prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations (e.g., charts, dashboards, heat maps) in order to support business decisions.
• Designs and produces actionable reports that define, build and visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), display root cause analysis, and identify areas of improvement.
• Synthesizes data to develop actionable insights and recommendations reflecting both an understanding of the data as well as an understanding of the underlying business process(es).
• Uses visualization, storytelling and prescriptive insights with the data.
• Designs, develops, tests and launches new data products and dashboards into production.
