Blue Cross NC is hiring a Senior BI Developer Analyst to translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights that inform affordability and strategic decisions. You will partner with actuarial, business and technical teams to design reports, dashboards, and scorecards that support enterprise priorities.

This role requires 4+ years in actuarial/technical work, with BI tool experience (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree where required.
• 0
• 4+ years actuarial/technical experience; related experience may be considered.
• ASA or more exams toward ASA.

Responsibilities

• Develops reporting structure, toolset and analytic strategy to support market and domain teams and pricing.
• Support and manage complex applications systems and code migrations.
• Distributes established reports and responds to inquiries; investigates trends and anomalies.
• Coordinate and independently develop BI content through development life-cycle for data-driven decisions.
• Share expertise on enterprise data content and BI tools; maintain knowledge base.
• Plan and manage projects of moderate/high complexity within time and budget.
• Participate in Actuarial Development Program.
