Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior BI Developer Analyst to transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights. You’ll partner with actuarial, business and technical teams to design dashboards, reports, and scorecards that inform decision-making and measure performance.

The role emphasizes actuarial knowledge, business rules development, and enterprise BI solutions aligned with operational needs and practice standards. Hybrid-flex work model offered with remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 4+ years of actuarial and/or technical experience. Related experience may be considered.
• In lieu of minimum experience, ASA or more exams towards ASA attainment may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develops reporting structure, toolset and analytic strategy to support market and domain teams as well as pricing for programs and products.
• Support and manage complex applications systems on multiple platforms and manage code migrations across environments.
• Distribute established reports and respond to inquiries; investigate trends and anomalies.
• Coordinate and independently develop BI content (reports, dashboards, scorecards, etc.) through the full development life-cycle.
• Share expertise with business areas to explain enterprise data content and BI tools; maintain knowledge base.
• Plan and manage projects of moderate/high complexity within time and budget.
• Participate in the Actuarial Development Program.
