Job summary

Niagara Bottling in Diamond Bar, CA, is seeking a Sr. Food Technologist (Beverage) to lead new flavored beverage development, line extensions, and value engineering in collaboration with marketing, sales, quality, procurement and manufacturing.

The role requires leading formulation work, scale-up, and technical guidance across cross-functional teams, with strong emphasis on cost control, labeling claims, and product specifications. Travel 10-25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 4 years – Beverage product development and commercialization experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 6 years – beverage product development and commercialization experience.
• Experience in formulating beverages with target flavor profiles and cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new flavored beverages and line extensions.
• Formulate products to target flavor and nutritional profiles while managing cost.
• Serve as technical lead on ingredient functionalities and processing capabilities.
• Oversee beverage formulations through scale-up and commissioning.
• Develop finished product and ingredient specifications with accuracy and repeatability.
• Collaborate with QA, marketing, and operations to ensure feasibility and safety.
