Job summary

Symrise is seeking a seasoned Beverage Development Lead in the United States, New Jersey region, to own end-to-end beverage projects and translate marketing insights into customer-ready formulas.

You will develop robust beverage systems, stay current on ingredients and processing, and travel to customer sites for presentations and workshops. Experience across the full product development cycle is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science required; MS preferred.
• 5–8 years in beverage applications or beverage product development.
• Deep expertise in beverage areas and processing technologies.
• Knowledge of HACCP/food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of customer projects, managing scope, timelines, and risks.
• Lead development of differentiated beverage prototypes translating insights into customer-ready solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical partner from concept through commercialization.
