Job summary

Roush is seeking a Senior Electrified Powertrain Calibration Engineer in Livonia, MI. You will develop electrified powertrains from concept to production, mentoring teammates and supporting customer interactions.

Required: BS in engineering and 4+ years of calibration experience for BEV/FCEV/HEV, with vehicle/dyno work and software familiarity. You will work hands-on with high voltage systems, control algorithms, and software tools like MATLAB/Simulink, ETAS INCA, and ATI Vision, while

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in mechanical, automotive, electrical engineering or similar field.
Minimum 4 years of relevant powertrain engineering experience including hands-on hybrid/electric calibration.
Experience in vehicle and dynamometer-based calibration development.
Proficiency reading controls algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink or C-based software.

Responsibilities

Lead and/or participate in development and validation of electrified powertrain controls for BEV, FCEV, and HEV applications.
Create requirements for controller software to meet project goals.
Perform bench, dynamometer, and vehicle-based calibration development and validation.
Analyze data and present findings to the team.
Provide calibration support and release of software into production.
Engage in climate and altitude testing to meet objectives.
