Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Project Engineering Manager to lead a multi-discipline team on diverse BESS + Solar projects. The role involves managing engineering design, materials, and construction specifications while coordinating with clients and project management for budget and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of related experience, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, and preferably a Professional Engineer license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of related work experience.
• P.E. license highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV and BESS facilities with layout optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead large multi-discipline teams to meet project deliverables.
• Manage engineering design, materials, equipment, and construction specification development for Solar + BESS projects.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and client communications on projects.
