Job summary

Moss is seeking a BESS Senior Electrical Superintendent to lead the field execution of major solar projects. You will supervise and mentor site teams, coordinate with owners and subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality across multi-site operations.

This exempt, full-time role requires extensive travel, the ability to manage budgets and schedules, and collaboration with the Project Executive and VP of Electrical Field Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5 years’ experience as the General Superintendent on utility scale solar/BESS projects.
• Journeyman or masters license (NASCLA or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• STS-C Certification at a minimum, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience leading multiple direct reports and strong project-team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple utility-scale solar/BESS projects.
• Interface with owners and plan resources at program level.
• Support superintendents in owner discussions and subcontracting.
• Mentor direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
• Develop and enforce best practices for electrical field operations.
• Coordinate project schedules and procurement with project management.
• Oversee safety initiatives and quality control policies.
• Support scheduling of shared resources and subcontracted resources.
• Coordinate with other departments (QC, commissioning, substation).
• Report on budget and schedule; assist with project changes.
