Job summary

Moss & Associates is hiring a BESS Senior Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution on large-scale solar projects across multiple states. You will direct electrical construction, mentor field teams, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating with pre-construction and project management for subcontracts and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years as General Superintendent on utility scale solar/BESS projects.
• Journeyman or master license (NASCLA or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire.
• STS-C Certification at a minimum, or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire.
• Experience with multiple direct reports and leading project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple utility scale solar/BESS projects.
• Owner interface and resource planning at program level.
• Support superintendents in owner discussions.
• Work with Project Management team for subcontracts.
• Support and mentor direct reports as well as manage performance reviews.
• Create, distribute, and enforce best practices for Electrical Field Operations.
• Project completion and closeout coordination.
• Creation and monitoring of safety initiatives.
• Help manage procurement and engineering schedule.
• Support Electrical Superintendents in creation of project schedules.
