Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 7 years in power systems or energy storage projects.
- Experience with BESS integration in utility-scale or data centers.
- Knowledge of protection, controls, and energy management systems.
- Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements and specifications for BESS installations (capacity, duration, reliability).
- Evaluate BESS technologies, vendors, and conduct technical bid analyses.
- Define electrical integration between BESS, generation assets, MV distribution, and microgrids.
- Establish protection, controls, and energy-management requirements; assess safety and reliability.
- Develop system-level operating philosophies and coordinate tests and commissioning.
