What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the entire life cycle of implementing benefits programs in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws/regulations through routine and special audits
- Administer the 401K Program, including handling questions, audits, and compliance testing
- Serve as a subject matter expert for internal HRIS partners regarding system updates and customizations
- Stay informed on industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for benefit programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in benefits and 401K administration
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and completeness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations (e.g., PPACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CEBS designation preferred
- Experience in benefits provider negotiations with a deadline-driven capability
- Hands-on experience with Benefits Administration System or HRIS (Workday preferred)
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with all employee levels
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
