Job summary

NexaMotion Group is seeking a senior Total Rewards/Benefits leader to oversee health, welfare, and retirement programs across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. You will serve as SME for benefits, manage enrollments and communications, and ensure ERISA compliance while partnering with brokers and providers.

The role emphasizes process improvement, data-driven decisions, and scalable Total Rewards operations to support a growing multi-region workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Benefits, Total Rewards, or Human Resources with ownership of benefits and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, IF, TRIM, Pivot Tables).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and prepare leader-ready reports.
• Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
• Experience supporting a multi-state or multinational workforce.
• Solid knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, ERISA and DOL/IRS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and continuous improvement of health, welfare, and retirement programs across the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for benefits and retirement programs, partnering with brokers and providers to optimize plan performance.
• Lead benefit enrollments, communications, and member education to maximize value.
• Own plan compliance, including ERISA, annual testing, audits, and regulatory filings.
• Liaise for leave, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and unemployment programs and drive timely outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen internal controls across Total Rewards.
