Job summary

Hinton Transportation Investments seeks a Benefits Senior Specialist to lead strategy, administration, and compliance for all benefit offerings including leave and 401k. You will partner with leaders and brokers to optimize programs and employee experience while balancing financial objectives.

The role requires data-driven decision making, governance across multiple plans, and the ability to drive wellness and education initiatives that boost participation and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, management, business or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in benefits strategy and administration and/or HR required.
• Experience supporting compliance related to leave programs such as FMLA and other applicable regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to implement a strategy within a team and broader company based off data insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive benefits strategy in partnership with brokers, carriers, and vendors.
• Execute day-to-day administration of employee benefit and leave programs across all plans.
• Drive plan renewals and open enrollment activities with design, communication and system readiness.
• Provide timely, high-quality support through self-service resources and direct assistance on complex issues.
• Regularly review and process billing and conduct audits to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with ACA, FMLA, ERISA and related regulations across jurisdictions.
