Job summary

Oracle US is seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist to deliver an exceptional benefits experience to employees and their families. You will serve as a subject matter expert across benefit programs, policies, eligibility, and enrollment systems.

You will mentor peers, lead projects, implement programs, and partner with Payroll, Finance, HR, and vendors to ensure accurate, compliant administration while upholding HIPAA confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressively responsible experience in employee benefits
• Deep working knowledge of U.S. employee benefit programs
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, ADA, FMLA and related laws
• Ability to independently evaluate complex or ambiguous situations
• Experience mentoring and leading teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior SME and escalation resource for complex benefits questions
• Research, assess, and resolve complex or non-routine employee cases
• Provide personalized benefits support through Oracle Benefits Portal, email, and phone
• Interpret benefit provisions, policies, and regulatory requirements for employees
• Own day-to-day benefits administration activities and reporting
• Lead or manage benefits projects from planning through implementation
• Lead implementation of new programs, enrollment activities, and system enhancements
• Identify gaps and opportunities to improve processes and experience
• Partner with vendors to resolve issues and monitor service delivery
• Mentor and develop Benefits team members and deliver training
• Lead employee-facing presentations and webinars
• Support audits and compliance activities with data validation
• Handle confidential information per HIPAA and Oracle policies
• Provide insights to Benefits leadership on trends and risks
