Ignite Human Capital LLC is seeking a Sr. Benefits Specialist to own employee benefits programs and support weekly payroll for a growing US workforce. This onsite role sits between HR and Finance to ensure accurate, compliant benefits data and smooth payroll processing.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in benefits administration, strong Excel skills, and experience with Rippling and NetSuite. Multi-state compliance knowledge is essential, with benefits from day one and a competitive incentive

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of benefits administration and payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state benefits, leave, and payroll regulations.
• Experience with Rippling (strongly preferred) and payroll software; NetSuite a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer all benefits programs: medical, dental, vision, ancillary insurance, 401(k), FSA, commuter, wellness, and leave.
• Manage enrollment for new hires, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment.
• Serve as the primary resource for employee benefits questions; liaise with brokers and carriers.
• Keep benefits data in Rippling accurate and up to date; monitor file transfers with carriers.
• Coordinate Leave of Absence processes (STD, LTD, PFML, FMLA) and accommodations.
• Reconcile monthly vendor invoices and ensure timely payments with Finance.
• Process weekly payroll for hourly employees; resolve discrepancies with payroll team.
• Prepare payroll journal entries in NetSuite and assist with payroll tax filings.
• Create benefits guides and host information sessions; ensure ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA compliance.
