Job summary

Wood Mackenzie is seeking a Senior Specialist - Benefits to support benefits delivery across the Americas region from Boston. The role will manage BAU benefits administration, renewals, and projects while coordinating with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate deductions and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of benefits administration experience across the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, strong communication skills, and hands-on Workday knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of benefits administration experience across US/Canada/Mexico/Brazil.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday.

Responsibilities

• Enter and validate employee benefit elections during onboarding or open enrolment.
• Process benefit cessation and ensure correct end dates for leavers.
• Review and approve life event requests and update benefit selections accordingly.
• Coordinate COBRA notifications, enrolment, and continuation coverage administration with the vendor following qualifying events.
• Manage end-to-end leave cases including approvals and employee/manager co-ordination.
• Communicate leave status and related changes to payroll to ensure accurate pay and benefit deductions.
