Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive benefits experience.
• Experience supporting Health & Welfare and retirement programs.
• Experience across multiple U.S. states and applying differing state requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, Form 5500, Medicare Part D.
• Proven experience in annual enrollment, benefit implementations, vendor management, employee communications, regulatory compliance, financial reconciliation, audit support.
• Advanced analytical, problem solving, communication, and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-state benefits administration for health, welfare, and retirement programs.
• Resolve complex eligibility, enrollment, payroll, leave, vendor, data, and invoicing issues.
• Oversee compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, Form 5500 and related rules.
• Lead annual enrollment and implementations including planning, testing, communications, and payroll validation.
• Manage vendor performance, renewals, invoices, reconciliations, and cost allocations.
• Support retiree health and welfare benefits for closed populations and coordinate with providers and fiduciaries.
