Job summary

Dole Fresh Fruit Company is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to lead our health & welfare and retirement programs for employees across multiple U.S. states.

This senior-level individual contributor will navigate varied federal and state requirements, workforce populations, vendor relationships, financial controls, and escalated employee matters to ensure accurate, compliant, and consistent benefit administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Eight or more years of progressive benefits experience for Health & Welfare and retirement programs.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple U.S. states with differing state requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, Form 5500, and related compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-state Health & Welfare and retirement programs.
• Escalation point for eligibility, enrollment, payroll, leave, vendor, data, and invoicing matters.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Form 5500, and other regulatory requirements.
• Direct annual enrollment planning, system testing, communications, and vendor coordination.
• Manage vendor performance, renewals, invoicing, reconciliations, and cost allocations.
• Coordinate with Payroll, Accounting, and Legal on financial reporting and controls.
