Job summary

Exelon is seeking a senior attorney focused on employee benefits and executive compensation law. You will provide expert legal services to Exelon units, advise on ERISA plans, and lead complex assignments including M&A and contract negotiations.

This hybrid role requires in-office presence three days a week across designated offices. You will oversee fiduciary guidance, draft plan documents, and train fiduciaries while collaborating with outside counsel and internal teams to manage risk and

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in relevant jurisdictions.
• 7–10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation law.
• Strong knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in the legal field.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist guidance on employee benefits and executive compensation law for Exelon business units.
• Lead large, complex legal assignments, assess legal and business risks, and advise clients; represent Exelon in M&A, negotiations, audits, and litigation.
• Advise on ERISA plans and communications; prepare and review plan documents and SPDs; conduct fiduciary training.
• Manage budgets for outside counsel and lead/mentor junior attorneys and staff.
