Qualifications
- JD/LLB from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in relevant jurisdictions.
- 7–10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation law.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, Mental Health Parity, 409A, and related laws.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal services related to employee benefits and executive compensation for Exelon business units.
- Lead complex assignments, evaluate legal and business risks, and advise clients; participate in M&A, contracts, audits, litigation.
- Advise on defined benefit and defined contribution plans, non-qualified deferred comp, health and welfare, and severance programs.
- Draft and review plan documents, SPDs, and employee communications; counsel ERISA fiduciaries.
