BBSI is seeking an Employee Benefits Consultant to support business-owner clients with tailored benefits solutions. You will collaborate with branches, brokers, and internal teams to expand the master benefits program and ensure effective enrollment and client satisfaction.

The role requires 8+ years in employee benefits, strong business acumen, and a licensed Life and Health Insurance Producer. Travel up to 25% may be required; starting salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 annually with

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on employee benefits experience at a benefits brokerage or general agency; Account Management and/or Benefits Administration experience a plus.
• Thorough understanding of employee benefits principles and practices, including laws and regulations at the state and federal level, product and market-specific familiarity, industry trends, and underwriting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Guides and supports business-owner clients and internal teams with benefits planning.
• Creates tailored benefits packages with clients and brokers.
• Balances account management with new benefits client acquisition.
• Partners with branches, underwriting, and operations to grow the master benefits program.
• Delivers training and guidance to clients and staff on benefits programs.
