BHC Insurance in Arkansas seeks a Senior Benefits Account Manager for its Employee Benefits team. You will steward a portfolio of mid-sized and large employer clients, guiding strategy, renewals, enrollment, and vendor management throughout the year.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in employee benefits, a Life & Health license or ability to obtain, and strong analytical, communication, and relationship skills. This role offers a hybrid work environment and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of employee benefits experience in an agency/brokerage or similar
• Experience managing mid-sized or large employer benefit plans
• Active Life & Health Insurance License or ability to obtain
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
• Strong knowledge of fully insured group benefits; stop-loss/captives a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; willingness to travel; bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of group employee benefits clients and serve as a primary day-to-day contact
• Develop relationships with HR, finance, executive leadership, carriers, administrators, and vendor partners
• Partner with Benefits Consultant/Producer to understand client objectives, benefits philosophy, and financial priorities
• Oversee annual service calendar including pre-renewal planning, renewals, enrollment, and reviews
• Review plan proposals, pricing, networks, and contracts to identify value
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors to ensure accurate implementation and service continuity
