Job summary

Imagine360, LLC is seeking a Sr. Plan Document Specialist to draft, review, audit, and maintain employee benefit plan documents and SPDs for self-funded health plans, ensuring ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA compliance.

This role collaborates with Account Management, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Sales, and clients in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and document QA are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years drafting employee benefit plan documents and SPDs.
• Strong knowledge of self-funded plans and TPA operations preferred.
• Excellent command of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA and related regulations.
• Ability to translate benefit designs into compliant documents.
• Advanced Microsoft Word skills for complex editing and formatting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and maintain plan documents, SPDs, amendments, summaries of modifications, and related materials.
• Ensure documents reflect client benefit designs and regulatory compliance.
• Perform detailed QA reviews prior to distribution.
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams to gather plan information and meet deadlines.
• Serve as SME on plan language, regulations, and best practices.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update templates and processes accordingly.
• Develop and improve document templates, workflows, and procedures.
• Maintain organized document management with version control.
• Identify process improvements to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
• Support audits, projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain confidentiality.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold strict confidentiality of client, member, and company information.
• Other duties as assigned.
