Job summary

GuideWell is seeking a Senior Behavioral Scientist to translate evidence-based behavioral science into business impact. You will partner with senior leadership and product teams to improve engagement, health outcomes, and decision-making across the enterprise.

You will design and lead studies, analyze behavioral data, and scale interventions that matter, balancing rigorous science with practical deployment within a large healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related work experience in behavioral science or experimental research
• Master's degree required; Advanced degree preferred in related fields
• Experience designing and conducting experiments (RCTs, A/B tests, quasi-experimental)
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; proficiency with statistical tools
• Excellent communication skills translating research into actionable insights

Responsibilities

• Partner with executives and cross-functional teams to identify high-impact opportunities
• Consult on business challenges using behavioral insights to improve engagement, decisions, and outcomes
• Support transformation efforts including AI adoption and ethical implementation
• Develop frameworks and playbooks to scale behavioral science across the organization
• Design and lead experiments (RCTs, A/B tests, field studies)
• Own measurement and evaluation to demonstrate impact and guide decisions
