Job summary

Monarch Healthcare is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Therapist to provide outpatient services across ages in North Carolina. The role involves interviews, individual/group/family therapy, crisis assessment, and coordinating care with psychiatrists.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, referring to community resources, and coverage for Emergency Services as needed. The position supports professional development and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Interview individuals and/or families to identify problems and assess mental status and dangerousness.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to individuals of all ages.
• Assess psychiatric crises and crisis intervention with psychiatrists.
• Maintain medical records in compliance with guidelines.
• Refer clients to outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Interview individuals and/or families to identify problems and assess mental status and dangerousness.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
• Assess crises and crisis intervention with psychiatrists.
• Maintain medical records in compliance with guidelines.
• Refer clients to outside agencies and provide information within confidentiality standards.
• Provide crisis assessments, stabilization and service coordination to de-escalate crises.
• Cover Emergency Services during clinical hours and on-call after hours/weekends.
• Maintain licensure and participate in trainings to stay current.
• Foster positive relationships with communities and stakeholders.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement activities.
• Provide clinical consultation as needed.
• Drive and travel to community locations and outreach destinations.
