Job summary

Pascua Yaqui Tribe is seeking a Social Worker I to monitor a caseload within our social services program. The role involves determining benefits, completing documentation, educating clients, and making referrals according to established regulations.

You will develop service plans, maintain regular contact with clients, coordinate with tribal departments and outside agencies, and provide crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of case management experience.
• Associates or higher in Social Work, Business Admin, Education or related field.
• Bachelor's in Social Work, Business Admin, Education or related field or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Monitor a caseload and determine benefits for clients per regulations.
• Prepare documentation, educate clients, make referrals, and monitor client status and progress.
• Develop plans of service and update progress notes; maintain client files.
• Coordinate with tribal departments and outside agencies to ensure program compliance.
• Provide crisis interventions and address urgent client needs.
