Qualifications

• Master’s level BCBA or in the process of sitting for the BCBA exam within 6 months.
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Ability to exercise good judgement and remain calm in crisis situations.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Employment contingent upon successful background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing checks.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral support interventions and activities based on individual needs and ongoing assessment; frequency and duration may vary.
• Provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) – Functional Behavioral Assessment and development of a Behavioral Support Plan.
• Supervise RBT/Behavior Support Specialist staff as needed.
• Implement the individualized Behavior Support Plan.
• Provide Positive Behavioral Supports.
• Provide coordinated support with program staff and participate as part of the clinical team.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Cooperate with license and department staff in inspections, inquiries, or investigations.

Education

Master’s level Board Certified Behavioral Analyst or sitting for exam within 6 months
