Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Bedford Park, IL seeks a Senior Formulations Technologist to design and execute product development for Beauty & Home Care. You will lead projects, mentor staff, and provide technical consultancy to customers and partners.

This role involves coordinating with Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, and Quality teams, conducting experiments in lab and pilot plants, and contributing to IP through patents/publications while traveling to engage with strategic clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy or related field with 5+ years in Personal Care finished goods.
• Hands-on cosmetic formulation experience and ability to plan projects autonomously.
• Experience with analytical instruments and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute formulation projects for beauty & home care applications.
• Mentor junior technologists and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop technical papers and present at conferences to showcase Ingredion’s expertise.
• Plan experiments, analyze data, and drive IP generation and documentation.
