Proskauer Rose LLP seeks an Associate Director of Business Development – Private Investment Funds to lead BD strategy for the firm’s Private Investment Funds practice. You will drive fund-formation and secondary initiatives, shaping market positioning and client cross-selling across US and global funds ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in a professional services environment with BD/marketing/communications.
• Significant experience supporting Private Investment Funds or sponsor-driven practices in a global law firm.
• Strong understanding of fund formation, secondaries and private funds landscape.
• Excellent leadership skills including hiring, motivating, and developing high-performance teams.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and client-market insight with data-driven approach.
• Executive presence and confident communication with senior professionals.

Responsabilités

• Develop annual strategic plan for the PIF practice and translate into initiatives with existing clients and priority sponsors/markets.
• Support BD with growth objectives for fund formation, secondaries and related structures; measure ROI.
• Advise partners on client targeting, cross-selling and market positioning in US and global funds ecosystem.
• Collaborate with BD colleagues to drive cross-practice initiatives and integrated private capital strategies.
• Lead onboarding with lateral hires and client integration; manage US-based BD team members.
