Job summary

You will lead high‑voltage production processes, coordinate with design and contract manufacturers, and drive sustainment to scale from prototype to production.

Collaborating with electrical and mechanical teams, you will optimize processes for safety, quality, and productivity while mentoring junior staff and staying abreast of energy

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 5+ years in battery or electromechanical hardware manufacturing or design.
• Experience moving battery packs from design to production.
• Able to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in manufacturing.
• Hands-on hardware fabrication experience preferred.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead new manufacturing processes for battery packs and high-voltage systems.
• Design production processes for efficiency, safety, quality, and scalability.
• Provide manufacturability feedback to design teams.
• Create process maps and work instructions for assembly and test.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and boost productivity.
• Oversee manufacturing projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional ramp-up with hardware, software, QA, and supply chain.
• Mentor junior engineers and manufacturing staff.
