Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Battery Mechanical Engineer to own mechanical design, thermal management, and structural analysis for high‑voltage and energy storage modules. You will lead from concept to deployment, using NX/SolidWorks and FEA/CFD tools while collaborating with electrical and manufacturing teams. The role requires 5+ years in mechanical design, GD&T proficiency, and travel up to 25%.

U.S. security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of mechanical design and analysis experience with hardware, battery modules or power systems.
• Proficient with CAD software (NX/SolidWorks) and FEA/CFD tools.
• Understanding of GD&T and hardware manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Perform CAD design of battery modules, enclosures, frames, and thermal management components.
• Conduct FEA/CFD to evaluate structural and thermal systems including thermal runaway mitigation.
• Generate and release engineering drawings and product definitions.
• Collaborate with electrical, BMS software, and manufacturing teams to integrate hardware into systems.
