RWE Americas, LLC in Illinois is seeking a full-time, permanent Senior Engineer to join the BESS Operations Engineering Team. The role focuses on fault analysis, capacity testing, and delivering design improvements for the BESS fleet to improve reliability and energy yield.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in engineering, with EIT/PE preferred, and have 7+ years in electrical operations or design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Python, and data analysis is expected; some travel to sites is required.

Qualificações

• BS or MS in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial/Civil engineering or equivalent experience.
• E.I.T. certification preferred; PE certification is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in electrical operations, asset management, or design.

Responsabilidades

• Review and analyze equipment faults, downtime, and operation history focusing on safety, cost, and risks.
• Coordinate data collection across teams to meet availability, SOC, cycling, and ramp-rate metrics.
• Ensure warranty tracking and OEM differences are understood and followed.
• Lead RCA of failure modes and propose improvements to reliability and production.
• Collaborate with operations, field staff, and vendors; develop design drawings and procedures as needed.
