Job summary

Plus Power is seeking a Finance and Capital Markets Analyst to support project finance transactions for battery storage projects, including construction financing and tax equity. You will build complex financial models, assist with due diligence, and coordinate with external financing parties to close deals.

You will also help with bidding and structuring offtake arrangements and participate in project acquisitions and sales, gaining broad exposure to energy storage development and financing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field required.
• 1-2 years of project finance transaction experience or equivalent education with financial modeling coursework.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project financial modeling.
• Tax equity modeling experience a plus.
• Experience in energy storage, renewables, or gas is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage large projects with tight timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support debt and tax equity financing transactions, including marketing materials, due diligence, and financial modeling.
• Own all aspects of project financial models through development, construction and operations.
• Create dashboards, reports and analytics for senior management and investors.
• Analyze macroeconomic and ISO-level trends affecting portfolio viability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support key business decisions (PPA pricing, design optimization, equipment selection, O&M contracts).
