Zusammenfassung

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Battery Equipment Calibration and Maintenance Technician to ensure the accuracy and uptime of battery test lab equipment.

You will work under the Lab Manager within the Battery Test and Validation group, handling calibration routines and preventative maintenance across cyclers, environmental chambers, chillers, DAQ systems, and related tools. You will contribute to SOPs, mentor peers on calibration workflows, and help drive process improvements to optimize equipment

Qualifikationen

• Associate of Science (A.S.) degree or technical trade school certification preferred; or a minimum of 2 to 4 years of related hands‑on experience in equipment maintenance, calibration, or laboratory operations.

Aufgaben

• Track calibration schedules on battery testing equipment and monitor ISO/IEC 17025 compliance.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on battery test cyclers, environmental chambers, chillers, and power supplies.
• Diagnose minor mechanical/electrical anomalies and report complex failures to lab leadership.
• Maintain digital records of PMs, calibration certificates, and asset statuses in Jira / lab systems.
• Train technicians on calibration workflows, PM checklists, and SOPs.
• Review workflows to identify gaps and propose improvements for uptime and efficiency.
• Enforce EH&S, LOTO, high-voltage safety, and 5S across workbenches.
