Qualifications

• MS/PhD in chemical engineering, materials science, physics, or chemistry.
• 10+ years of electrode process development, electrode fabrication, and QC methods.
• Hands-on experience with mixing, slurry coating, and calendaring.
• Proficient in statistical methods for experiment planning, data analysis, and process control.
• Experience transferring electrode processes into high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical cell development leadership to a team of scientists, drive breakthrough innovation, and develop technology strategy.
• Establish a process of engineering and standard work for electrode development and cell assembly.
• Set goals, define and track cross-functional deliverables, identify risk, and drive mitigation.
• Identify creative ways to overcome obstacles and meet the schedule.
• Work with engineering stakeholders through concept development, prototype testing, and system build.
