General Motors Global Virtual Engineering (GVE) is seeking a Battery Cell Electrochemistry Analysis Engineer to push the frontiers of battery cell design through advanced electrochemical modeling, data science, and cross‑functional technical leadership for EV systems.

You will develop and calibrate multi‑physics models, implement them in Python, MATLAB/SIMULINK, COMSOL, SABER, and PyBaMM, analyze cell aging and thermal behavior, and enable full‑vehicle co‑sim calibration, diagnostics, and

Qualifications

• BS in a relevant engineering or data science field required.
• 3+ years of data analytics and machine learning experience.
• 3+ years of battery electrochemistry modeling experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and calibrate multi-physics battery models.
• Implement models using Python, MATLAB/SIMULINK, COMSOL, SABER, and PyBaMM.
• Collaborate with test teams to refine protocols.
• Document models and usage guidelines.
• Deliver models integrated into full-vehicle co-sims.
