You will work with internal teams and external suppliers on system design, validation testing, and failure analyses, delivering high-performance energy storage solutions aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science or related field.
• Experience with battery cell postmortem analysis and degradation mechanisms.
• Ability to analyze situations and make data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing battery cell projects and supplier coordination.
• Strong communication and cross-location collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive cell selection decisions based on cell specs and test results.
• Evaluate chemistries and form factors to meet system needs.
• Develop battery system requirements from customer voices.
• Lead discussions with cell suppliers for production programs.
• Collaborate with battery system, BMS, modeling, and compliance teams on test plans.
• Perform detailed failure/root-cause analyses with suppliers.
