Job summary

You will monitor processes, perform in-process testing, document batch records, and assist QA with deviations and root-cause investigations. Overtime, shift work, and some weekend hours are required in a production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 7+ years of experience as a Chemical Batch Maker, Chemical Operator, or similar role in FDA-regulated manufacturing.
• Forklift sit-down certification or experience, willing to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up, operate, and monitor tanks, mixers, pumps, scales and gauges.
• Accurately weigh, measure, and add raw materials per batch sheets and safety guidelines.
• Perform tank and mixer sanitization per SOPs and train to monitor purified water system.
• Adjust process parameters to ensure batch performance; perform in-process testing and record results.
• Complete production logs and deviation notes accurately and on time; support QA with samples and data.
