Job summary

Champion-Packaging- in Woodridge, IL is seeking a Batchmaker to oversee the production of batched items used in filling operations. You will weigh materials, monitor quality, and maintain tanks and the reclaim system.

This role requires standing 8 hours, lifting 50 lbs, and strict adherence to 5S practices. You will follow batch sheets, sample for lab testing, and report issues to the quality manager.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Obtain batch sheet from laboratory supervisor.
• Weigh items.
• Provide samples of completed batch to laboratory for testing and approval.
• Adjust batch as dictated by laboratory.
• Obtain and apply tank ticket after laboratory approval.
• Label and fill tote/drum/pail quantities of products.
• Change line and raw material filters.
• Operate and maintain sodium hypochlorite reclaim system.
• Immediately report safety/maintenance/equipment issues to the quality manager.
