Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Senior BAS Project Manager to lead large-scale BAS/DDC projects from award through turnover. You will own project delivery, budgets, schedules, and client relationships, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in Building Automation, strong HVAC knowledge, and proven leadership in complex commercial settings. You will mentor Project Managers and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and owners to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

6+ years of BAS/DDC project management experience.
Proven experience delivering large commercial BAS projects.
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and controls.
Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and cost controls.
Experience leading customer meetings and coordinating project stakeholders.
Strong understanding of construction project workflows and trades.
Ability to manage project risk, schedule challenges, and scope changes.

We are seeking a Senior DDC Project Manager to lead complex Building Automation System (BAS) projects from initial planning through final turnover. Key Responsibilities

Lead large-scale and multi-phase BAS/DDC projects from project award through final acceptance
Develop and manage project schedules, manpower plans, budgets, and execution strategies
Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project delivery
Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, labor, and resource challenges
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to client expectations

Financial Management

Own project financial performance and profitability
Manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and project financial reporting
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
Review change orders and ensure opportunities are properly captured
Lead recovery efforts on underperforming projects to restore profitability and schedule adherence

Customer & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution
Lead client meetings, construction meetings, and executive-level project reviews
Build trusted relationships with owners, general contractors, consultants, and subcontractors
Resolve project challenges while maintaining customer satisfaction and confidence
Represent the company during high-profile project discussions and industry events

Team Development & Mentorship

Mentor and support Project Managers, Associate Project Managers, and junior team members
Provide guidance on project execution, customer communication, and financial management
Promote consistency in project delivery standards and best practices
Contribute to the ongoing development of project management processes and procedures

Technical Oversight

Review project plans, specifications, scope documents, and sequences of operation
Support project teams with technical guidance when required
Ensure BAS installations align with project requirements, standards, and customer expectations
Collaborate with engineering, programming, commissioning, and field teams throughout project execution

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

6+ years of Building Automation (BAS/DDC) Project Management experience
Proven experience managing multiple BAS projects simultaneously
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and controls applications
Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and cost controls
Experience leading customer meetings and coordinating project stakeholders
Strong understanding of construction project workflows and trades
Ability to successfully manage project risk, schedule challenges, and scope changes

Preferred Experience

Large commercial BAS projects
Healthcare, higher education, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, industrial, or data center projects
Mentoring or leading Project Managers and project teams
Multi-million-dollar project portfolio responsibility
Exposure to design-build and plan-spec project environments

Qualifications

Strong contract and construction document comprehension
