Job summary

Mesa is seeking a Senior BAS Network Engineer to oversee architecture, security, integration, and lifecycle management of Building Automation System networks and supervisory platforms. The role sits at the intersection of building automation, OT, IT, and cybersecurity, providing Tier 3 support and strategic direction across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will develop secure remote access, network segmentation, and disaster-recovery strategies, mentor staff, and coordinate with vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Building Automation, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in building automation, controls integration, BAS networking, or OT.
• Niagara Framework experience including Supervisors, JACE platforms, migrations, lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable BAS network architectures for facilities, campuses, and enterprises.
• Lead Niagara upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• Engineer BAS communications using BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus, LonWorks, SNMP.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to align BAS with enterprise standards.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support for automation engineers and project teams.
