Job summary

Kelso Building Services is seeking a Senior BAS Technician to service and optimize building automation systems nationwide. You will troubleshoot complex BAS/HVAC control issues, perform maintenance, and support upgrades while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will mentor junior techs, collaborate with project managers, and leverage remote monitoring capabilities to improve energy performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BAS service experience and HVAC troubleshooting proficiency.
• Ability to read control drawings and sequences of operation.
• Experience commissioning and servicing DDC systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair BAS control systems and field devices.
• Diagnose HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service inspections.
• Support controller replacements, upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
• Validate operations and optimize system performance.
• Assist with commissioning and startup activities.
• Document activity and maintain backups.
• Develop customer relationships and act as primary technical contact.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide training.
