Job summary

W3Global in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Service Technician with strong hands-on BAS/HVAC controls experience. You will troubleshoot, program, maintain, and commission building automation systems while delivering customer service and supporting BAS project startups.

Qualifications

5–8 years of HVAC controls/BAS experience.
Hands-on experience with Niagara, Johnson Controls, and KMC.
Advanced knowledge of BACnet, LON, and Modbus.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and controls components.
Experience with BAS networking, troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex controls issues.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to work overtime and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair BAS/EMS, HVAC, and refrigeration controls.
Program, configure, and commission controllers, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and system optimization.
Troubleshoot BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP, LON, and Modbus networks.
Configure and troubleshoot Niagara Supervisors, Stations, and Platforms.
Perform Niagara integrations, migrations, and graphics.
Handle service calls independently and provide customer technical support.
Support BAS project startups, warranty work, and small service projects.
Mentor technicians and coordinate with contractors, manufacturers, and clients.
Complete service documentation and participate in after-hours/on-call rotation.
