Job summary

ENTEK SOLUTIONS in Buford, GA is seeking a Senior Control System Technician to lead programming, start-up and commissioning of BAS for commercial HVAC projects. You will troubleshoot, service, and document projects while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.

Reporting to the Controls Department Manager, you will develop tech leadership, train others, and ensure safety and quality standards across installations, upgrades, and energy optimization efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with building automation systems and field service.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex BAS issues.
• Strong communication and customer relation skills.

Responsibilities

• Database development and backups.
• Downloading programs to controllers.
• Equipment start-up and check out, including tuning control loops and calibrating field devices.
• Follow all standard installation procedures.
• Commission building controls system to meet project design.
• Ensure start-up/commissioning forms are completed for all projects.
• Complete project punch lists timely.
• Coordinate and document customer training.
• Mark up project drawings to document progress and changes.
• Meet project deadlines.
• Assist sales with estimates as needed.
• Complete service calls as assigned.
