Job summary

Smart Building Technologies, a Fidelity Company, is seeking a skilled Controls Technician in the Fort Myers area to service EMS/BAS systems, optimize performance, and assist with installations. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and verify issues with the service team, and sharpen programming skills for remote or on-site support.

A sign-on bonus may be available for highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HVAC and DDC systems.
• Deep understanding of BAS control components and programming.
• Desirable: Tridium Certification and Distech experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert service to EMS/BAS systems for optimal performance.
• Handle service installation projects including sensor/relay upgrades and controller replacements.
• Perform preventive maintenance visits to safeguard system reliability.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and verify service issues with the team.
• Develop programming skills for autonomous service, including limited remote support.
