Job summary

MPSW is seeking a skilled controls installer to support HVAC projects in Arizona. The role requires strong installation leadership on-site, deep knowledge of controls, mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to work in unfinished or occupied buildings with basic hand tools.

You will lead a team of installers, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure safe, efficient project execution while maintaining clear communication with customers and contractors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Degree in HVAC/R Technology or BAS experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or controls industry.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC equipment and technology.
• Understanding of control devices and troubleshooting with digital multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Install control system components for projects without supervision.
• Review submittals and plan installation comprehensively.
• Determine wire and material needs daily/weekly for workflow.
• Maintain efficient schedules and monitor critical paths.
• Troubleshoot using digital multimeters and related tools.
• Follow electrical wiring diagrams for mechanical equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Report detailed information to supervisor and stakeholders.
• Lead installers and act as on-site lead for projects.
