Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Construction Project Manager for BAS controls in the Pittsburgh area. You will lead substantial HVAC controls construction projects on customer sites, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while managing contracts, procurement, and change orders.

You will collaborate with Owners, Sales, and Installation teams, develop detailed schedules, and drive risk management. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project Scheduling software and financial accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC Controls construction projects valued at $1M+ on customer sites.
• Ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and within contract scope.
• Coordinate with Owners, contractors, and internal teams for successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractors, and change orders to protect cash flow.
• Monitor safety compliance and quality standards on site.
