Blue Door is seeking experienced bartenders to join our team as we prepare for the busy season. We’re looking for bartenders who already have a strong foundation in the craft and want an environment where they can continue developing at a high level.

In this role, you will deliver thoughtful hospitality, execute a technique-driven cocktail program, and maintain a strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and our current menu while collaborating with the hospitality team during high-volume service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bar experience.
• Strong foundation in classic cocktails and spirits.
• High standards for hospitality and guest experience.
• Interest in modern bartending science and technique.
• Curiosity about ingredients, processes, and why techniques work.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to stay organized and composed during high-volume service.
• Desire to continue learning and push craft forward.

Responsibilities

• Deliver thoughtful, genuine, and knowledgeable hospitality.
• Execute a technique-driven cocktail menu with precision and consistency.
• Maintain strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, ingredients, and our current menu.
• Participate in daily prep, batching, production, and quality control.
• Work with modern bartending techniques including clarification, carbonation, infusions, fermentation, emulsification, acid adjustment, and more.
• Learn and work with specialized equipment used in modern cocktail production.
• Participate in tastings, education, R&D, and menu development.
• Contribute ideas to our creative, concept-driven cocktail menus.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar during both prep and service.
• Work collaboratively with the entire hospitality team.
